August 23rd - Today we experimented with translations, rotations, and reflections on the coordinate plane. We received back the quiz from Monday and students should complete corrections. Students also are working on a more difficult problem that they will continue to work on tomorrow. Homework - Complete corrections for reflections quiz, sign up for remind for SS and Math, have parents sign the label in your agenda, and do some work on your problem from class. August 22nd - We are currently working on rotations, reflections, and translations. Students are experimenting with these concepts on a coordinate plane to help students understand the properties of these concepts. We do not have homework today, but we will as soon as we are able to get IXL updated. August 14th - Please give your child a big hug today. They all worked really well on their math MAP test!! We should finish up tomorrow and delve into our awesome year of learning :-) Over the past week we have been going over classroom expectations and setting our norms for the classroom based on the Habits of Scholarship rubric. The students worked really well together and began to notice that the expectations of the rubric is what helps ALL of be successful not matter what we do in life :-) |
